I am incredibly proud to be the Headteacher of Kew Riverside Primary School, a vibrant and welcoming learning community supported by a highly skilled and dedicated team of teachers and support staff.
Kew Riverside is a one-form entry primary school with the capacity for 210 children, aged 4 to 11 years. We are proud to be a school where every child is known, valued, and supported to thrive — academically, socially, and emotionally. Please click here to find out more about our excellent results.
Our school currently follows a structure of mixed-aged classes in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This approach has proven highly beneficial for our pupils. It provides children with the opportunity to build relationships across year groups, promoting collaboration, communication, and mutual respect. Older pupils often take on a mentoring role, reinforcing their own learning while developing leadership skills and a sense of responsibility. These mixed-age environments help to create a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where all children feel supported and empowered.
Kew Riverside has a strong record of academic success. Our pupils consistently achieve academic attainment above the national average, and we are committed to maintaining these high standards through high-quality teaching and a supportive learning environment.
We offer a rich, skills-based curriculum that is both engaging and challenging. Learning is brought to life through creative approaches that encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and a genuine love of learning. Our aim is for every child to leave Kew Riverside as a confident, polite, and independent young person, ready for the next stage of their education and beyond.
We are equally committed to the personal development of every child and value the vital role of families in supporting their children’s learning. We work in close partnership with our parents and carers to ensure every child can achieve their full potential.
I hope our website gives you a good sense of what makes our school so special. However, the best way to experience the warm and inspiring atmosphere of Kew Riverside is to come and visit us. You are very welcome to arrange a tour — our pupils, who are our greatest ambassadors, would be delighted to show you around.
