Results
We constantly monitor the progress of our children and have an ongoing dialogue with our parents. Pupils are formatively assessed on an ongoing basis. These are shared with parents at termly parent consultations and the children's attainment and progress is currently reported in writing annually.
At the end of each Key Stage, in Y2 and Y6, children take national assessments (SATs), which are both teacher assessed and externally moderated.
All schools are inspected by Ofsted every 3 to 5 years. In addition schools receive yearly performance data, called Analysing School Performance (ASP), which is collated by the Department of Education. Recently Ofsted have launched the School Data Dashboard, which provides a snapshot of school performance at Key Stages 1 and 2.
Schools receive a Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) for children entitled to free school meals (FSM) in order to help raise their attainment.
