Complaints Procedures
We pride ourselves in our open and positive relationships with parents, carers and children.
We value feedback from parents and carers and encourage you to approach the school with any concerns that you might have.
The headteacher meets with Class Representatives each half term. This is a robust meeting and its content is driven by issues raise by parents and carers. This may be for clarification, to raise a concern or praise something the school are doing well. The minutes of this are published in the Parent Voice/Class Reps section of this site, within a 'You said, we did' format. However;
- If you have cause for concern you should speak to the class teacher in the first instance.
- If you are not happy with the response from the class teacher or it is not appropriate to discuss your concerns with the class teacher, you should make an appointment to meet the Headteacher.
On the rare occasion concerns cannot be resolved in the above ways, then complaints should be addressed in writing to the Chair of Governors. At this stage the Chair will liaise with both parties to try to resolve the issue. The Chair of Governors can be contacted at: governors@kewriverside.richmond.sch.uk
The Chair of Governors will discuss with other members of the governing body as appropriate and respond to you within 5 working days.
Our Complaints policy can be found here.
