Class teachers Lisa & Katie welcome you to the wonderful Willow Class

A warm welcome to our Reception class! We are excited to embark on this delightful journey of learning with your children. This year, we will explore an array of engaging topics, fostering a love for learning and creativity.

We will begin with "All About Me," encouraging children to share their unique identities. Then, we'll dive into the enchanting tale of "Goldilocks and the Three Bears," sparking discussions about stories and character feelings.

Our thematic explorations will also include "My Family" and an exciting look at "Winter Festivals," where we'll celebrate diverse traditions. We will learn about "Weather" and the changing "Seasons," paving the way for discussions on nature.

We will be visiting "The Farm" to understand where our food comes from, and explore the world of "Minibeasts." Finally, we will end the year with a trip to "The City" and "The Beach," where children can connect with their environment.
