School Development Plan (SDP)
At Kew Riverside, we have a clear vision for all of our children. We wish to
- Help our children to become confident, resilient and socially responsible individuals who set and achieve the highest standards for themselves
- Provide a broad and rich curriculum that engages each and every child with indoor and outdoor learning of the highest quality
- Work in partnership with the whole school community, respond to its voice and value its diversity
In order to achieve our vision, we create a School Development Plan every year. The plan is written in collaboration with staff, Governors, parents and children. We review the feedback from surveys, the outcomes of school data and the evidence gathered from Local Authority reports. This plan is for everyone; it belongs to everyone and we each have a part in making sure our goals are achieved.
As in previous years, the plan is grouped under four main priorities, below which sit a set of tasks and activities. Our priorities this year are to further develop and continue to improve:
- Mathematics
- Reading
- Learning and Teaching strategies
- Communication with parents
