From June next year, year 4 will take part in a national ‘Multiplication Table Check’. We prepare the children through quality first teaching, interactive games and weekly ‘Rainbow Tables’. It is vital that times tables are being practised and consolidated at home. The ‘Rainbow Tables’ are available on the school website (parents and carers > subject areas > mathematics > times table support). There are also many fantastic apps and websites to support times tables such as:

• Maths Rockx EDU

The 2 sites below simulate the exact format of the tests and we really recommend that the children are exposed to this at home as well as in school (practice makes perfect J )
